Check the O-rings

The first thing you need to do is check the O-rings. If they’re damaged or not seated properly, they can cause leaks. Replacing the O-rings is usually an easy fix.

Check the 510 connection

Another common cause of leaks is an improperly seated 510 connection. Make sure that the 510 connection is tightened properly and that there’s no debris or dirt blocking it.

Check the airflow holes

If the airflow holes are blocked, it can cause leaks. Make sure that the airflow holes are clear and unobstructed. You can clean them with a cotton swab if necessary.

Use thicker juice

If you’re using a thinner juice, it’s more likely to leak out of the tank. Try using a thicker juice or adding some VG (vegetable glycerin) to your juice to make it thicker. This will help reduce leaks.

Check O-Rings

If you’re experiencing leaking from your vape tank, one of the first things you should check are the O-rings. These rubber seals are responsible for keeping e-liquid in, so if they’re damaged or worn out, it can cause leaks.

To check your O-rings, simply remove the tank from your device and inspect them. If they look cracked, torn, or otherwise damaged, it’s time to replace them. You can find replacement O-rings at most vape shops, or online.

Once you have new O-rings, simply install them by pushing them into place. Be sure not to over-tighten the tank when screwing it back on, as this can also damage the O-rings and cause leaking.

Check for Cracks in Your Tank

If you’re using a sub-ohm tank, it’s important to check for cracks regularly. Sub-ohm tanks are under more pressure than regular tanks, so they’re more likely to develop cracks.

To check for cracks, start by taking the tank apart and inspecting the glass for any cracks or chips. If you see any, it’s time to replace the tank. If the tank is made of metal, inspect it for any dents or scratches. Dents or scratches can weaken the metal and cause leaks.

If you don’t see any obvious damage, fill the tank with water and check for leaks. If there are any leaks, chances are there’s a crack somewhere that you can’t see. In this case, it’s best to replace the tank.

Use a Lower PG E-juice

If your vape tank is leaking, one of the first things you should try is using a lower PG e-juice. PG (propylene glycol) is a thinner liquid, so it can seep through small cracks and holes more easily than VG (vegetable glycerin).

Thus, using a juice with a higher VG content may help to fix your leaking problem. Of course, every tank and coil is different, so you may need to experiment with different e-liquids to find one that works best for you.

Don’t Draw too Hard

If you’re new to vaping, you might be tempted to draw hard on your vape tank in order to get more vapor. However, this can actually cause your tank to leak.

When you draw too hard, the air pressure inside your tank increases. This can cause the seals around your tank to break, and e-liquid to escape through the cracks.

To avoid this, take gentle puffs on your vape and resist the urge to inhale deeply. You’ll still get plenty of vapor, and your tank will be much less likely to leak.

Vape at a Higher Wattage

If you’re looking for a way to stop your vape tank from leaking, one of the best things you can do is to vape at a higher wattage. This will help to create a stronger seal around the tank and prevent any liquid from escaping. Vaping at a higher wattage will also help to improve the flavor of your e-liquid and give you a more satisfying vaping experience overall.

Don’t Overfill your Tank

If your tank is overfilled, it can cause leaking. To avoid this, make sure to fill your tank to the recommended level. The indicator line on most tanks will tell you how full it should be. If your tank doesn’t have an indicator line, fill it until the liquid reaches the center of the chimney.

Keep Your Tank Upright

It is important to keep your vape tank upright to prevent leaking. If your tank does happen to leak, be sure to clean it up immediately and dry the area thoroughly. You may also want to check for any cracks or damage to the tank.

Make Sure your Tank is Screwed Together Properly

If your vape tank is not screwed together properly, it can result in leaking. To avoid this, make sure that you screw the tank onto the device tightly and securely.

Also, be sure to check that the O-rings (seals) are in good condition and are correctly positioned before screwing the tank onto the device. If you’re not sure how to do this, consult the user manual for your specific device.

Check Your Coil

If your vape tank is leaking, the first thing you should do is check your coil. Most leaks occur because the coil is not properly seated in the tank.

To fix this, simply unscrew the tank from the mod and remove the coil. Inspect the coil to make sure it is clean and free of any debris.

If it looks dirty, gently wipe it off with a paper towel. Once you have confirmed that the coil is clean, reinstall it making sure that it is screwed in tightly.

Close the Airflow When You Fill

If you’re new to vaping, you may not know that one of the most important things you can do to prevent your vape tank from leaking is to close the airflow when you fill it.

By closing the airflow, you create a seal that prevents e-liquid from seeping out of the tank. Here’s how to do it:

  • Unscrew the tank cap and remove the drip tip
  • Locate the airflow control ring at the base of the tank and turn it so that the airflow is completely closed
  • Hold the tank upside down and fill it with e-liquid, being careful not to overfill
  • Screw on the tank cap and replace the drip tip
  • Open the airflow control ring slightly and take a few test puffs to make sure that e-liquid is flowing into the atomizer coil properly
